Team Clarke had a good and bard start to the year, the down side was Daryll went out for his first practices session in the 32.4 (it was his first time driving it on the big track) but unfortunately didn’t even make it in to the first turn! Daryll launched off the start line fine, it was when he went to click in in to 2nd gear that the engine decided to pack it in for the day meaning Daryll was out for round one!
Levi had close battles all day and was not shaken by the big names he was up against. Considering it was his 2nd time driving the car (first time in comp) the team was wrapped when the heard over the loud speaker that he had qualified 2nd the didn’t expect this outcome at the first round. Qualifying in the top 8 means that you are in the “A MAIN” event, tho levi got knocked out in his first battle the team was still stocked to walk away with 5th place.
